Personal Life & Political Career
Velu Narayanasamy (born May 30, 1947) is a politician of the current Indian National Congress and 10th Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Pondicherry since June 2016.
Previously, he was a deputy, representing Puducherry at Lok Sabha. Manmohan Singh.
In the 2014 general election, R. Radhakrishnan, supported by the All India N.R. Congress He is a member of the Congress Working Committee as well as the Secretary General of the Congress Committee in India.
Early life
V. Narayanasamy was born in Pondicherry, the son of Velu, a toddy tapper, and Iswary. He made his son B.A. Tagore College of Art, Pondicherry, B.L. Madras Law College, Chennai and M.L. from Annamalai University.
Political career
V. Narayanasamy held three Rajya Sabha positions and was a Lok Sabha member of the Puducherry constituency from 2009 to 2014. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs to Manmohan Singh's Prime Minister and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs UPA Government.

As Chief Minister
He was appointed Chief Minister of Puducherry in May 2016, after the Indian National Congress and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam elected the election of the Pondicherry Legislative Assembly.
He was chosen in relation to V. Vaithilingam who was twice Chief Minister of Pondicherry.
