Personal Life & Political Career

Hukmdev Narayan Yadav (born November 17, 1939) is a member of the 16th Lok Sabha of India and former Minister of State of the Union. He represents the Madhubani constituency in Bihar and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata party. Yadav is known for his fiery speeches in parliament. In August 2018, Yadav received the Outstanding Parliamentary Award for 2014-2017 and was congratulated at an event in the Parliament's Main Hall.

Education & background

Yadav is a graduate. A farmer by profession, he is also a political figure and a social worker. With Indranath Jha, Yadav was very active in Madhubani; after the death of Indranath Jha, he took all the responsibilities.
