Senior leaders of BJP

Bharatiya Janta Party is a pro-Hindu political party. The party has the support of Indians from all castes and creeds. It has successfully got support from lower castes. The party was established in 1951. This party advocated an ideology of Hindutva that defines Indian culture and Hindu values.

There are many successful senior leaders of BJP that have contributed in making the party successful. Few of them are Murli Manohar Joshi, Mahendra Nath Pandey and Kalraj Mishra.

Murli Manohar Joshi

He was born on 5th January 1934. He completed his higher education from Meerut College and Allahabad University. He got inspired by great RSS leaders such as Deendayal Upadhaya, Guruji Golwalker and Prof. Rajendra Gupta. He was awarded Ph.D by Allahabad University. He was greatly inspired by the strong ideology of Aurbindo and Vivekananda.

Dr. Joshi had handled three ministries – Ocean Development, Science & Technology and Human Resources Development. In the first Atal Behari Government, he was the Union Home Minister. It is known that modern institutions like IIIT, K.S. Krishnan Institute for Geo-magnetic Studies are the results of his hard work. Indo-Russian Centre of Bio-Informatics, Science city, Rajarshi Tandon Open University at Allahabad and FM Channel Radio Station for Education are some of the major work in the Murli Manohar Joshi constituency. He later contested from Kanpur and won the elections.

Mahendra Nath Pandey

He was born on 15th October 1957. Mahendra Nath Pandey BJP is an active member. He has won the General Elections in 2014 from the Chandauli, his own constituency. He has become the member of 16th Lok Sabha. He has bagged his degree in M.A and PhD in Hindi. He has also completed his Master of Journalism from the Banaras Hindu University.

He held two terms in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, i.e. from 1996-2002 and 1991-1992. He was elected to 16th Lok Sabha election and was the standing committee member of Rural Development from September 2014 onwards. He is also a member of the Business Advisory Committee from Dec 2014 onwards. Most importantly, he became the Minister in Modi Cabinet in July 2016.

Kalraj Mishra

Kalraj Mishra was born on 1st July 1941. He is one of the well-known Indian politician and the former Union Cabinet Minister of Medium and Micro Enterprises in NDA government of Narendra Modi. He is currently an active member of parliament. Kalraj Mishra constituency is Deoria in Uttar Pradesh. He is an MLA from Lucknow East Assembly constituency and active member of Lok Sabha. He was the president of Uttar Pradesh unit.

He fought his first Vidhan Sabha elections in 2012 as a BJP candidate. He contested elections from Lucknow East assembly constituency. He born in a middle class family in Malikpur in Eastern UP. His father was a teacher and he was the fourth son to his parents. He completed his M.A. degree from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi.
